Motorola baby monitors interference noise:
If you’re experiencing interference with your Motorola baby monitor, there are several troubleshooting steps you can take. One common reason for the noise is that the Baby and Parent Units may be positioned too closely together. To resolve this, simply move them further apart, ensuring there is a distance of at least 1 to 2 meters between the two units to prevent audio feedback. If the baby unit is too far away, it may be out of range, so it’s recommended to bring the Baby Unit closer to the Parent Unit.
If these solutions do not resolve the issue, please ensure that the Baby and Parent Units are not near other electrical devices such as televisions, computers, or cordless/mobile telephones.
According to Motorola’s support page, it is recommended to keep the baby monitor at least 1.5m (5ft) away from these devices. However, I would suggest increasing the distance to up to 20 ft or even consider turning them off if they are causing any disruptions.
If you are experiencing a weak signal, try repositioning the Parent and/or Baby Unit in different locations within the rooms.
Babysense Monitor interference:
To troubleshoot interference with the Babysense Monitor, ensure that electrical Wi-Fi-connected devices are kept at least 5 feet away from the monitor. In most cases, simply moving your mobile device or other devices that use 2.4Ghz WiFi, such as a microwave or WiFi router, about 8-10 ft away from the monitor should resolve the issue.
I believe there is an error on Babysense’s support page regarding the recommended distance between the monitor and other devices. It incorrectly states that you should move other devices 8 to 10 feet away. See it here.
If the issue persists, try deleting the paired cameras. Power the monitor off and on, and then reset the device. Once done, re-pair the desired cameras. Another possible cause of Babysense Monitor interference could be power adapter problems. Please switch between the power adapters of the camera and the parent unit and see if that sorts it.
Hellobaby monitor interference:
One of the most common complaints about Hellobaby Monitors is the interference it experience from nearby devices. Some users have even mentioned how the camera can be affected by metal roofs, and even your phone can cause interference. Even without our baby’s sound machine on, the monitor consistently emits static noise when your Hellobaby is experiencing interference.
To address this issue, it is recommended to keep the camera at least 6 feet away from other electronic devices to minimize interference with the Hellobaby Monitor. In addition, make sure that both the camera and parent unit are plugged into a different outlet than any other electrical device. This will help reduce the chances of interference.
If you are still experiencing interference, try changing the channel on your Hellobaby Monitor. This can be done by going into the menu settings and selecting a different channel for the camera. Keep in mind that there are multiple channels available, so it may take some trial and error to find the one with the least amount
Stopping Infant Optics Interference:

Ensure that the Camera and Monitor Unit are at least 5ft (1.5m) away from these devices that use 2.4GHz frequency such as WiFi router, or turn them off if they are causing interference. It is also recommended to keep them away from thick walls or metal structures.
Stop VTech baby monitor interference:
To address VTech monitor interference, ensure that your baby monitor is positioned at least 3 feet (1 meter) away from devices such as wireless routers, microwaves, cell phones, and computers.
Additionally, adjust the angle of the baby unit camera to focus on your baby.
If the camera is positioned to pass through obstructions and not focussing directly on the baby, it can get interference.
